On the 3rd video segment at the beginning Ray asked about how many people bought a copy of 'Jimmy's book'.  From what I gather it was a book from Ray's naturopath about good foods, nutrition and herbals, ect.  What is the title of this book along with the author's name?  I have been doing a number of herbals and mineral supplements for quite a long time myself and God has blessed me with pretty good health overall but I'm always open to new information in this realm.  If you purchased the book and have begun to read it what do you think so far?

I was wondering about that as well.  I can't find it on the internet and although Dr. Steger has a couple of different websites I can't seem to locate any products that he sells/recommends.  I know we are not here to promote him or his book but having the source would be nice.

Health Tips for Wise Nutrition


1. Sins of civilization: Too much Sugar, Salt, White Flour, Fat, Wheat flour, irradiated foods, Smoking, Alcohol, Drugs.
2. Take a high quality Vitamin and Mineral supplement daily. Vitamins run the body and minerals build the body.  All diseases of man are due to mineral deficiencies.
3. Eat one salad per day with a rainbow of colors.  Stay away from iceburg lettuce.
4. Good protein advice: Eat fish or chicken only once or twice weekly.  Egg whites may be eaten 3 times per week.  Nut butter, 1 tablespoon 3 times per week.  Nut milks, 8 oz. twice a week.  Almonds are the King of Nuts. Sesame Seeds the King of seeds, Lentils the King of all legumes. These can be eaten on a daily basis.
5. Do not drink Cows Milk.  Cows milk destroys the lungs, ie., bronchitis
6. Good foods without exercise is fatal living.
7. Fats: Always eat the foods with the fats that they come with.  Limit the intake of concentrated fats and oils.  Use only unrefined, cold pressed oils.  I recommend raw nuts, seeds and avocado as good fats.
8. Eat at least three hours before bedtime.
9. Reducing: Eat smaller portions.  6 small meals a day, instead of 3 large ones.
10. Do not drink cold water with your meals.  3-4 oz. room temperature water only.
11. Always try to buy organic vegetables.  No canned foods.
12. Supplement your diet with fiber, enzymes, antioxidants, and minerals to compensate for having eaten incorrectly in the past and prevent problems in the future.
13. Eat natural sweets such as dates.  Revive other dried fruits including raisins, figs and prunes.  Use raw honey, maple syrup and fruit concentrates as your sugar.  No refined sugar.  Refined sugar destroys the thymus gland and is poison to the system.
14. Use fresh herbs for flavoring, No salt, pepper, aspartame, splenda, equal, etc.
15. When treating the body, remember physical, mechanical, chemical, nutritional, mineral, vitamin, emotional, and spiritual values.
16. Consider a good elimination program for the colon and liver twice a year.
17. Take charge of your skin.  Brush it daily.  The skin eliminates two pounds of waste each day, you must keep it clean, soap and water cannot do this.

I ordered a copy of the book and looking forward to getting it.  I have not been totally ignorant of various nutritional things as I have done high quality liquid vitamin/mineral supplements as well as some of the cleanses on a regular basis and I know enough that an acid body is an invitation to disease so you have to get your ph levels up.  Overall the health is pretty good but I have some bad habits like using a lot of salt as well as drinking way to much coffee so I know I have to make some changes.

It's interesting.  All is of God and one might say that 'Well, before you were ever born God has numbered your days and there is nothing you can do about it.'  Granted...and I believe that.  However we don't know what God has in store for us as to our number of days on this earth or our health and it just might be that he moves in us to do those things that will give us better health and to live out our full measure of days well.  Personally, I'm not so much interested in living older as I am in living better.  I'm in my upper 40's and have joint pain with stiff knees and hips that I attributed to perhaps just running too much and getting older but after listening to Dr. Steger it occurs to me that there is more for me to do healthwise and some things I need to give up.  I can't imagine totally giving up a good rare steak and my weekly pizza ect, but we'll see.  Smiley

Yeah...we decided to have a grilled chicken salad instead of hamburger and french fries...how rude!!  Cheesy

About all I could gather from the video's is that he doesn't feel as good now as he did a year ago and it was mentioned the day after the conference that he had a bad day as he probably overdid it.  I wrote Ray an email and told him how encouraged I was by how he presented himself at the conference.  He sounded pretty good and strong.  I wouldn't have been surprised to have seen him brought in with a wheelchair so to see him standing, walking and not showing any obvious signs of illness was extremely encouraging.  I hope and pray God give Ray several more years with us and that Ray can continue with his studies and teachings.

Hey, I don't know if your questions have been answered about this or not, but..whatever the state of his health one thing stood out to me..Ray is no quitter..he made it clear to us at the conference that he is living on borrowed time..he said he'll have another conference if God says he will. He said straight up that he isn't well, and that he doesn't feel as good as he felt several months ago..BUT he has an inner strength that keeps him going, he knows that if God says GO he will GO! If God gives him another day, then he'll use it doing what he always does..sitting there in front of his computer studying, studying and reading and digging..he reminds me of a mole..always digging deeper and deeper!! and you know he tried to stress to us that the most important thing to do is to keep digging and READ ALL THE WORDS!! we all need to follow his example so that when he is no longer with us we will understand how he got where he is today..not with a ton of money and dozens of college degrees, but with a determination to know what God wants us to know!! and he has proven to us that if we find a treasure, it is isn't necessarily going to be lying right on top of the ground..we will have to dig deep for it and puchase the ground from which the treasure comes..nothing is easy, but truth is attainable!! Cheesy
