Giving all Praises to God for allowing me to be introduced to this website. I don't know about all of you, but my soul hungered so desperately for God's word, I was miserable walking around this sad world we live in. Each day I am reminded of how grateful I am to be a child of the Father and I thank God again for leading me to all of you. My mouth waters each time I read any of your words of encouragement and the truth. My heart beats ten times faster because being able to know the truth is like a roller coaster ride for me because not only am I glad to receive the truth, but I am scared for some crazy reason. Not scared for heard the truth, but afraid for knowing the unknown each time I read anything of Mr. Smith's. I love the Lord, and I pray for continued guidance and understanding of His Word.
PLEASE Pray for me and my family on our continued search for nothing but the truth because we are experience some very hard times right now.

Welcome, Eva!
What area of TX?
I was born in Big Spring, TX, spent my childhood near Coahoma, TX.
Currently living in AZ.
Most of us have been/will be/or are on that roller coaster you speak of. Keep studying and praying; God is Sovereign!

Hi Eva from Texas -- I'm Carol also from Texas -- and welcome!
I think we all have that fear mixed with thankfulness at God's truth sometimes. This world can be a very frightening place and we can't help but have fear because we are still in flesh and have flesh loved ones as well. But God does give us comfort and knowing the truth is the best comfort of all.
I will certainly pray for you and your family.
I'm in West Texas and know someone else on the forum from West Texas too. Let me know if you're close by!
(Hey Patrick -- just a stone's throw from Coahoma myself)

Welcome Eva! Look forward to getting to know you better and reading your posts as well. If you feel comfortable about sharing what you are going through, you probably will find someone here that may be able to relate-- since it is through MUCH tribulation that we enter the Kingdom!
Peace and comfort be multiplied to you and yours!
